¡Bienvenidos!

Welcome to the website of the Intercultural Institute-The Interconnection of Culture! On this website you will find a three (3) hour course** on New Mexico cultures that has been approved by the New Mexico Board of Social Work Examiners, Certified Peer Support Workers, the Department of Health- Community Health Workers, and meets the continuing education requirement.

Click on the New Mexico Cultures Course page, hover over the text and click as it turns green. This will take you to the course and will guide you through the registration process. Parts of the course are narrated and other parts require your attention. There are quizzes and a final test at the end.

You will have three weeks to complete the course. You may exit the course and return to the place where you left off as marked by the “Progress” bar and the continue button. There is a $25 reinstatement fee after the three week period has expired.

There is a test at the end of the course. A score of 70% or better is needed to pass the test. You will be given three opportunities to take the test if you score below 70%. After three attempts with a score less than 70%, you will be required to take the 6 hour in-person course.* Please text or call if you have scored less than 70% on your second attempt. When you successfully complete the course and test, your certificate will appear on your screen. You can print and save it for your records. If it doesn’t automatically appear, please click on Menu, click on Participant Page, scroll down to and click on “my certificates”. Your certificate will appear on your screen. You can print and save it from there.
